The Blame Company, a London-based people-management company serving individuals and organizations, has raised US$1.2 million from Foxhog.

The investment is expected to help The Blame Company expand its operations and strengthen a service platform designed to help clients respond constructively to missed commitments, difficult conversations, service failures, workplace issues and sensitive stakeholder communications.

The Blame Company combines people management, hospitality, relationship insight and strategic communication within a discreet advisory practice. Its approach focuses on helping clients manage communication, coordination and relationship repair while promoting accountability without deception.

For individual clients, the company provides Moment Recovery, Conversation Support and Personal Concierge services. These offerings cover situations such as forgotten birthdays and anniversaries, missed gifts, delayed promises and emotionally difficult conversations. Support can include apology and message drafting, gesture planning, milestone management and discreet coordination.

For businesses, The Blame Company offers Service Recovery, People & Culture Support and an Executive Response Desk. These services help leaders, people teams and customer-facing organisations manage service lapses, internal friction, escalations and reputation-sensitive communications through response frameworks, stakeholder mapping and structured recovery plans.

The company was founded by Atuno, who brings people-management experience developed through her work at Jeevansathi.com and Tinder. She is joined by co-founders Naleenee, a former Booking.com professional who leads service design and international operations, and Nayana Verma, a Cambridge University alumna and former McKinsey professional who leads strategy, enterprise advisory and response design.

The Blame Company states that it does not fabricate evidence, invent alibis, impersonate third parties, obstruct investigations or assume legal liability for another person’s conduct. Instead, it helps clients move from defensiveness and confusion towards clear communication, responsible action and trust repair.

The funding from Foxhog marks an important stage in The Blame Company’s development as it seeks to serve more personal and enterprise clients across international markets.
